Safety Rules

Stay safe. Do not send money before verifying the product and seller. Meet in a safe public place where possible.

For buyers

  • Do not pay before you see and check the product.
  • Meet in a busy public place in the daytime. Bring a friend if you can.
  • Ask the seller for a live photo of the item in chat.
  • Be careful of prices that are much too low.
  • Never share your bank PIN, BVN or OTP code with anyone.
  • For cars and land, check documents with the proper authorities.

For sellers

  • Confirm payment has really arrived in your account before handing over goods. Fake transfer alerts are common.
  • Do not go to unknown places alone.
  • Keep your chats on this website so we can help if there is a problem.

If something goes wrong

Use the REPORT button on the product, seller or chat. You can also block a seller or buyer at any time. For crimes, contact the Nigeria Police Force.
